How early can you determine gender?
We recommend gender determination starting at 15 weeks.
When do you recommend the 3D/4D/5D Ultrasounds to be done?
We do recommend 28-34 weeks. You can come before or after these weeks. However, if you come too early baby does not have the "fat" on its face yet, so strong facial features might be harder to see. If you come past 34 weeks, sometimes the babies are already head down and super cramped in such a small/tight space.
Do you recommend anything before my appointment?
We highly recommend drinking 6-8 bottles of water a day starting 7 days prior to your appointment. The more hydrated you are the better quality images you should receive. For our 3D/4D/5D ultrasounds we do recommend eating or drinking something sugary about 30-45 minutes prior to your scan time. We also recommend scheduling around a time the baby is most active during the morning, or evening.
What if we can not get the Baby's Gender?
We do have high accuracy rates of being able to get the baby's gender, as long as you are at the 15 week mark. Although, sometimes babies, are in a more difficult position, or baby is not willing to move. However, if this does happen. We will bring you back within a week for a FREE Re-Scan.
Tardiness
Please Arrive no later than your appointment time. Please call if you are running late. All 3D/4D/5D ultrasounds will run UP TO 30 minutes. Each minute you are late will only cut into the bonding time you will have with your baby. If you are 15 minutes late and have made no contact with BTB Ultrasounds, BTB Ultrasounds reserves the right to cancel the appointment. Another Deposit must be made in order to reschedule.
Cancellations & No Shows
We do require a 20% Deposit down on the day of scheduling. You may pay over the phone with a card, or we can send an invoice to your email address. If we send an invoice to your email address, this gives you 24 hours to pay the deposit. If we do not receive the deposit, your appointment will be cancelled. The deposit is nonrefundable, this fee holds your appointment spot. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least a 36-hour notice. If a notice of a reschedule is less than 36 hours before your appointment, you will have to put down another deposit.
Scheduling
This ELECTIVE ultrasound service ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF YOUR MEDICAL ULTRASOUND. This is a keepsake ultrasound ONLY. This means that insurance will not cover this session. Please see our recommended gestation age that is listed on our packages before booking your appointment for the best imaging results.
What if we can not get Images of my Baby's Face?
Not Everyone receives a Full Front on face shot of their baby. We do our best to get the BEST quality images of the baby. This also factors on Placenta placement, Babys position, Fluid levels and etc. If baby does not show face at all, we will bring you back within a week for a FREE Re-Scan.
